Activities to do during spring in Mallorca
The spring season is special in almost every corner of the world. This time of the year supposes the start of the hibernal lethargy. No more coats and scarves. Of course, the warm welcoming and the daylight that goes to sleep a little later.
From MON PORT we want to tell you a secret: Mallorca looks great during spring. The blues is bluer, greens is greener and the sunset hours glow brighter. The mood is different and the desire is always ready for any plan that may arise.
In addition, special plans do not require much effort or budgets, is much easier: the right place with the perfect company for magic moments.
From MON PORT we want to make four suggestions on four special places that will make your spring a dream come true.
1. Excursion to Cabrera
The Cabrera National Park is a luxury within the reach for a few lucky ones.
Cabrera is an archipelago 11 miles from the southern coast of Mallorca. Its location, one of the most spectacular in the Balearic Islands, makes it one of the most wonderful places in the Mediterranean.
The calmness, the history, the uniquess, the breath taking beauty and the gift of swimming in the Cova Blava, an experience as incredible as it is comforting.
2. Kayak trip through the north of the island
From Port de Pollença to Cala en Gossalba, 13 kilometres of calmness, sport, beauty and saltpeter separate us.
This trip is one of the most interesting because, in its route, we will pass through emblematic areas such as Cala Pi or Cala Murta, as well as other coves which are not accessible by foot.
The reward is the arrival at the finish line, Cala en Gossalba, an unspoilt territory with a crystal-clear water on a background embraced by mountains and pine trees.
A marvel.
3. Visit to a winery
Visiting the Mallorcan wineries is like visiting the heart of the island.
Small family wineries open their doors and their vineyards and, with wine as the main ingredient, we will get to know the history of the island and the essence of Mallorca.
We invite you to discover the variety and, above all, the uniqueness of the Mallorcan grape and thus find out what the island tastes like.
A wonderful experience.
4. Sunset in Sa Foradada
There may be few things more rewarding than watching the sunset while the salt still lies on your skin after a long day at the beach.
The western part of the island, full of rocky coves and blue waters, restaurants by the sea and natural cascades of fresh water, also has a viewpoint with privileged views.
Sa Foradada, in spring, is especially enlightened and from the viewpoint of Son Marroig may become one of the most majestic views of the island.
All visitors prepare for the sunset as the sun, slowly, moves towards the horizon.
And before hiding completely, the sky bursts in orange, pink, red and blue colours.
The silence achieved at night can be a nice ending to a spring day in Mallorca.
