The Pollensa region, in the north of the island, is linked to Andratx, which is in the south, and has a total distance of 110 kilometres. It is perfect for all those professionals who want to discover the island like they have before, and we will show you step by step how to enjoy this marvel:
- We depart from Port d'Andratx towards Estellencs, where we will stop to contemplate the beautiful landscape of this quiet and charming village. Famous for its goats, nature and few inhabitants, it is a place that will offer you to experience the authentic Mallorca. We continue along the coast until we reach Banyalbufar, one of the most beautiful villages on the island.
- We continue the journey until we reach Valldemossa, famous for its delicious "cocas de patata". It is an idyllic place highly requested by tourists and celebrities, as it has impressive views and picturesque streets. Many people visit La Cartuja, where Chopin and George Sand stayed one winter. That's also where the well-known book "A Winter in Majorca" was written, which tells the story of the trip and their stay on the island during 1838. A must-see!
- On our way we will cross the famous villages of Deià and Sóller, known for its "Valley of the Orange Trees" and its abundant citrus plantations. We reach Escorça, crossing the emblematic Puig Mayor, and it is one of the largest municipalities on the island and the least populated, but with a lot of charm. There are several outstanding spots such as Cala Tuent, La Calobra and the Torrente de Pareis.
- We stop at Lluc, where we will find the famous Sanctuary that is visited by thousands of tourists every year. Once we have fueled our body, we face the final stage of the route. We head to the town of Pollensa, which is very rich in history, and has some charming narrow streets that invite you to take long walks. We finish the route in the well-known Puerto de Pollensa, which attracts a large number of tourists every year. It is a beautiful fishing port, with long sandy beaches and a variety of cafes, restaurants and much more. It is the perfect place to end the route with a nice meal overlooking the sea.
